Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking candidates for the Summer Internship Program. This program is an opportunity to experience the lumber industry and workforce like never before. From networking opportunities and real-world projects to community service events, Great Southern provides the incredible opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience.
As a YellaWood Intern, you will….
- Tour YellaWood’s corporate offices and manufacturing facilities
- Network with well-respected leaders in the lumber manufacturing industry
- Work alongside our team to experience a day on the job at YellaWood
- Collaborate with fellow interns on projects that will enhance your skills and industry experience
- Offer recommendations for improving our workplace as a fresh mind with the insights and knowledge of the new emerging workforce
Qualifications for the YellaWood Internship:
- Actively attending a two or four-year college or university and current status as college sophomore or higher
- Actively seeking a degree in business, engineering, sales, supply chain, accounting, marketing, or other related field
- Overall GPA score of 2.50 or higher
- Must have experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation
